self-confidence
It doesn’t happen overnight; there will be many trials and tribulations that contribute to our self-confidence, whether it be negative or positive. As human beings, we are subliminally always looking to satisfy ourselves and our loved ones. Many factors contribute to our self-confidence. Our past, present, and future.
Times of feeling great and our best naturally influence our confidence just the same as the negative occurrences we live out. We encourage building up self-confidence to tap into intrusive thoughts. We are systemically programmed to find fault, especially within ourselves.
As the thoughts of negativity wash into our minds as waves on sand, it’s worth remembering to take a deep breath. It’s important to visualize our goals and the best version of ourselves.
As social creatures, we sometimes find it upon ourselves to follow unnecessary trends; of course, essential sets of behaviors have caused humans to get to where we are now, although the need to follow unnecessary trends and behaviors can distract us. Especially those of the younger generations, we live in the internet age with many opinions, biased perspectives, and excessive behaviors. All these sources are exaggerated; this can be very overwhelming for the youth. At a certain point, it’s not hard to see why young people of this era lack self-confidence. It’s important not to let the experiences and opinions of others dictate our direction, someone may offer us advice although that doesn’t make it worth using.
There’s also the chance of being flattered into making a certain move by being told things we’d like to hear instead of constructive feedback. It’s important to keep a circle that hydrates and is honest with you. Self-confidence can manifest itself into collective confidence that is shared amongst our circle.
It’s important to stay real with ourselves to be self-confident. If one is to fake life, that is not life. If one is to live in fear, that is not living. Self-confidence means believing in yourself when no one else does or shows that they do. Self-confidence is lifting ourselves when waves of negativity crash on the shore.
It’s essential to follow your heart. Living up to the image that the internet allows us to portray isn’t always the healthiest route, although if it’s your cup of tea, drink slowly.
